  • Donations are being accepted for a Haiti Aid.  These restricted funds will be used for:
  • Immediate aid to organizations with which we are connected, specifically the Haitian Health Foundation .  Following the massive earthquake, immediate needs are for water, food and medical supplies.
  • Ongoing long term support to Haiti
  • Mission Trip Travel to Haiti- is scheduled for Sept. 2-6th. This will be to an orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti. We will be partnering with Vox Dei Community Church and the Global Orphan Project.     If you would like to give to the adults traveling to Haiti, please include a note on your check memo line: "Mission Travel Support". First come first serve for the up to twelve that will go.  One of many mission trips to go. The team will be working with the Global Orphan Project.   Cost for everything in Haiti is $680 ground transportation, food, lodging.  You'll have to cover your own flight with approx cost $1,200.  There will be an informational meeting on Monday, June 28th at 7:30 pm, at the High Blue Wellness Center, click for MAP . Will discuss passports to fund raising and more. If interested, you'll need time for training, getting a passport and the required shots.  Passports can take up to six weeks, so get started now if you are interested.  A number of vaccines are recommended for travelers to Haiti.  See your doctor before you travel to make sure you have had all the necessary vaccines.  Contact the Mission team if you are interested in going on a future mission trip.  Suggested book to read is: "Guidebook to the Road Less Traveled" by Kyle Faricloth.  For more information on this and future Haiti Mission Trips, go to the Global Orphan Project or Perception Funding websites.  Contact Frank File, email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if you are interested in going on a Haiti Mission Trip.

  • The Global Orphan Project.  Jonathan Klee and Perception Funding has been working with the Global Orphan Project to serve and love the orphans, teachers and pastor at the Bienac Orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti.  They have purchased a new pump for the well at the orphanage so they won't have to buy water or depend on a water truck.  Plans are underway to financially provide for the orphanage for at least the next three years.  A few other churches and businesses are considering joining in the effort. The next mission trip, with no exact date at this time, is being discussed to happen between August and November of 2010.
