Community Garden Print E-mail

Plans are underway for a Community Garden to be planted on New Summit's property this summer.

If you would like to donate money to help with the expenses, please make a donation to NPSC COMMUNITY GARDEN. Since this is the first year for this project, we have many equipment needs: rakes, hoes, shovels, wheel barrow, garden trowels, rototiller, concrete reinforcing 6x6 mesh or livestock panels for tomato cages, steel posts, storage equipment shed, and muscles. Donations of any of these items would be appreciated. If you could loan any of these items, that would be ok too. All donations except the muscles are tax deductible.

The next meeting will be after church: 11:30 AM, on March 14. If you are interested, please plan to attend. If you are unable to attend contact George or Kacy and tell us your interest. We feel this is a great opportunity to see some of our food supply from start to harvest. Presently our plans are to donate and distribute the first 25% of the harvest to local charities. The remaining 75% will be divided by the laborers. The over abundance will be made available to anyone that wants it.

God willing this will be a huge success and we will be able to increase the garden next year. We covet your prayers for this project.

God bless you all.
